Family Time
Spending time with family is important to us. As chaotic as life can be, we always schedule time together. Fortunately, our family’s love for baseball makes this easier throughout much of the year.
Scuba Diving
Both my wife Maria and I are avid scuba divers and take dive vacations at least once a year. In 2017, my son Adam was scuba certified as an Junior Open Water Diver.
Fishing and Hunting
This tends to be more a father and son activity for us. While my wife enjoys the outdoors, her tolerance of prickly wild-life and insects isn’t as high as ours.
Motorcycling
I’ve ridden motorcycles since I was 6 years old, starting with my cousin’s lawnmower-engine-driven minibike. Before my son came along, my wife and I would often take extended motorcycle trips from our home in Central California. Motorcycles certainly move the body from point A to point B, but more importantly they can stir the soul through a sense of adventure. My son is just starting to ride dirt bikes and is discovering his own inner adventurer.
